The Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE) is working closely with the Hawaii Department of Health (DOH) to provide guidance, and updates reguarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hotline for HIDOE student-related health questions and televisits
The HIDOE put together a site to assist parents and students in the event of a school closure. This site provides parents with resources that can assist in home learning.
During this temporary closure, HIDOE are providing grab-and-go meals for students. Click the title above for more information, including which school you should go to, in your district.
The CDC provides guidance in FAQ's, how to cope with the pandemic, symptoms, what to do if you are infected, communication resources and prevention. This site is a great source of information that is continuously being updated.
We do not want to forget our students with disabilities. Here is a document for SPED Guidance and Resources. The Office of Student Support Services has also created a document full of resources and support for SPED students.
